Getting Started
XOE is free to add and takes about five minutes to set up. This walkthrough takes you from an empty server to accepting payments, verifying members, and blocking scam links — no monthly subscription, no setup fees.
You only pay when your community does: a flat 5% on crypto (USDC on Base & Solana) and a 0% XOE fee on card payments (you only pay Stripe's standard processing).
1. Add XOE to your server
Add XOE to Discord and pick the server you manage (you'll need the Manage Server permission). Approve the permissions when Discord asks.
2. Run the setup wizard
In your server, run /run-welcome-setup. The wizard creates the channels XOE needs and walks you through verification and payments step by step.
Important: for XOE to assign roles, drag the XOE role above any role it manages in Server Settings → Roles, and make sure XOE can post in its channels. The wizard reminds you, and XOE will tell you if a permission is missing.
3. Choose how you get paid
Open the XOE dashboard and set up one or both payment methods:

Crypto: add a USDC payout wallet for Base and/or Solana. Funds go straight to your wallet (non-custodial), 5% fee. Learn more

Cards:connect Stripe to accept cards, Apple Pay & Google Pay at a 0% XOE fee — money settles to your Stripe account. Learn more
4. Set your roles & prices
- Create the roles you want to sell in Discord (e.g. "Member", "VIP").
- In the dashboard, choose which roles are paid, set prices and durations, or add custom products and donation portals.
- XOE grants and revokes roles automatically as members pay and access expires — role automation keeps everything in sync.
5. Turn on protection

Human verification: new members complete a quick check before they get access, stopping bots and raids. Learn more

6. Optional: gate access by token holdings
Grant roles based on what members hold in their wallet. Set a threshold on a Base or Solana token and XOE handles the rest — only genuine holders get in. Set up token gating.
